Description

The book "देणारं झाड" (The Giving Tree) is a Marathi translation of the English book of the same name by Shel Silverstein. It was published by Samakalin Prakashan in 2007. The book tells the story of a tree and a boy who are close friends. The boy loves the tree and often climbs on it, eats its apples, and uses it as a shelter. As the boy grows older, he begins to take the tree for granted and only asks for more and more from it. The tree gives everything it has to the boy, even its branches and trunk. In the end, the tree is left with nothing but a stump. The boy is remorseful and realizes that he has taken the tree for granted. He apologizes to the tree and promises to never take it for granted again. The tree forgives the boy and tells him that it is happy to have given him everything it had. The book "देणारं झाड" is a beautiful story about friendship, love, and sacrifice. It is a reminder that we should always be grateful for the things we have and that we should never take them for granted.
